How to Collect Rainwater

Water is essential for survival in DayZ. On Nordic's server, we've made it a bit easier with our Dew Collector feature.
What is the Dew Collector?
The Dew Collector allows you to gather fresh water directly from the air using your canteen or water bottle. No need to find a well or pond!
How to Use It
Simply hold your canteen and look up at the sky. When conditions are right, you'll be able to collect water.
- Works best during dawn and dusk
- Higher humidity = more water collected
- Can be used anywhere outdoors
Important Warning
The collected water is not purified!
Drinking unpurified water may make you sick. Consider using chlorine tablets or boiling the water first.
